This feature guide explains how to use competitive backlink analysis within our digital marketing and SEO analysis tool to uncover linking strategies and potential opportunities.
Setting Up Your Competitive Analysis
- Input Domains: Begin by entering one or more domains you want to analyze into the search fields. These should be the domains of your competitors or other websites from which you wish to gain insights.
- Exclusion Field: Optionally, you can specify a domain that you want to exclude from your analysis. Typically, this would be your own domain if you are looking to identify backlink opportunities that your competitors are utilizing but you are not.
Understanding the Analysis Results
Search Results Table: After performing the search, the results will be displayed in a table format, which includes the following columns:
- Referring Domain: Lists the domains that provide backlinks to the competitor’s domains you’re analyzing.
- Backlink Counters: These columns display the number of backlinks from the referring domains.
- Rank Columns: Show the authority rank of the referring domains.
- First Seen Dates: Indicate when the backlink from the referring domain was first detected.
